About Us

At Native Teaching Aids, we understand that Tribes should be the tellers of their own stories.

We collaborate with tribes, schools, educators, and knowledge keepers to create educational resources that teach Indigenous languages, cultures, and history.

Our process is collaborative; ownership belongs to the communities we work with.

Once developed, materials are distributed as the community wishes.

As members of a language movement to reclaim Indigenous ways of life and identity, our goal is to serve as a resource to empower and advocate for language revitalization, cultural reclamation, and decolonization.

Since our establishment in 2013, we have collaborated with many communities to develop a wide range of games, instructional tools, online services, and educational apps.

These products were created in direct response to educators at language immersion and public tribal schools, recognizing their requests for materials to help educate students in the classroom and at home.

Native Teaching Aids serves communities throughout the United States, the nation of Hawai’i, and the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta in Canada. We pride ourselves in collaborating with communities to offer culturally sensitive, accurate, and community approved educational materials.
